On June 30, HSE University-St Petersburg gathered almost 5000 guests at KSK 'Arena' for the main event of this summer—graduation 2024. Bachelor's and master's students were congratulated by their friends and family, professors and faculty deans as well as HSE University-St Petersburg trustees. The diplomas of HSE University-St Petersburg were awarded to more than 1400 people, and 280 of them received the diplomas with honours. On June 29, 2024, the President of the Republic of Congo Denis Sassou Nguesso visited St Petersburg as part of his official visit to Russia. He spoke at the meeting of the Academic Council of HSE University—St Petersburg. The participants discussed Russian-Congolese cooperation in education.

The master's programme 'Finance' at HSE University-St Petersburg has confirmed its international accreditation of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) for five years. Now, the programme graduates can skip several exams when joining ACCA. The qualification gives the alumni a competitive advantage when seeking employment in top Russian and international companies for positions related to finance and accounting.

‘HSE — Saint Petersburg International Ambassadors’ is a project where HSE University students work with the International Office to promote the university amongst prospective applicants. This competitive selective project is aimed at improving students' communication, leadership ability, and creative skills.

Six HSE students have returned from the expedition to the Himalayas organised by the St Petersburg School of Social Sciences and the University of Delhi. Together with colleagues from the Indian university, they studied local mountain communities of the western part of the Himalayas. The intermediate result of this trip was three hypotheses about the sustainable development of the region. The international project was the first stage of joint climate change research planned for five years.

Magdalena Gaete, the head of the Project-Based Learning Laboratory for Reputation Management in Education at HSE University-St Petersburg, won the Best Case in Social Entrepreneurship award at the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). She presented a study on the transformation of elderly care in Russia, conducted within the framework of the mirror laboratory of HSE University-St Petersburg and UTM. The award was presented to Magdalena Gaete by the Dean of the Azman Hashim International Business School (AHIBS), Professor Dr Rosmini Omar.

HSE University-St Petersburg hosted the Indian Students Week. The event gathered more than 50 students from India. The students represented 15 top universities in the country. In particular, there were representatives of IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, UPES, IIM Amritsar and others. The goal of this large-scale initiative of HSE University-St Petersburg is to introduce talented students from India to educational opportunities in Russia, in particular, HSE educational programmes in four directions: business and economics, design, social and computer sciences.
