On March 25, 2021, Mr Pascal Sliwanski, the Consul General of France in St Petersburg, and Mrs Eva Bertrand, Cooperation Adviser, paid a visit to HSE campus in St Petersburg to meet the team of the university and discuss collaboration prospects. The university was represented by Prof Sergey Kadochnikov, Prof Irina Shchemeleva, Prof Elena Rogova, Ms Elena Vandysheva and the team of the International Office.
The international ambassador project is one of the leading projects by the International Office of HSE University — St. Petersburg. Ibuowo Grace, a fourth-year student of the BA Programme 'Political Science and World Politics' who is serving her second year as the international student ambassador of HSE University, told us about her experience.
Natalia Zaytseva is a fourth-year student of the 'Law' programme. She went on an academic exchange to Finland in autumn 2020. Studying at the University of Helsinki, she got a clear understanding that there are no problems she would not solve. Master’s Programme 'Arts and Culture Management' Enters a Strategic Partnership with the State Hermitage
Under the agreement between HSE University and the State Hermitage, a separate agreement on a strategic partnership between the Master’s Programme in Arts and Culture Management and the museum has been established. As part of the partnership, Hermitage staff led two courses in the first semester of 2020: 'Art History and Contemporary Cultural Practices' and 'Art Management'.
Students of the St. Petersburg School of Physics, Mathematics, and Computer Science Vasily Alferov, Konstantin Makhnev and Maxim Surkov, have won the online round of the ICPC semi-final - student world programming championship. A team from the Faculty of Computer Science of HSE University in Moscow is also in the top three. In addition, three more teams from HSE Moscow and St. Petersburg made it through to the next round.
