M Hugo de Chavagnac, Consul General of the Republic of France has given a visit to HSE University in St Petersburg this week, December 12, 2017. The Higher School of Economics in St Petersburg is among the first sites of official visiting for his new assignment.
December is one of the two months during the year when students can transfer to HSE from other academic institutions. To facilitate this process, HSE University has introduced an online service for those seeking a transfer.
On November 23-27, 2017 HSE University Saint Petersburg team of Associate Professor Nina Grigoreva and Ekaterina Starikova from the Department of African and Asian Studies, Associate Professor Irina Shchemeleva, chair of the Department of Foreign Languages and Konstantin Platonov, director of the Centre for International Cooperation went to Hanoi, Vietnam within the project 'Dialogue of Cultures: Russia and Asia-Pacific Countries'. The visit was organized by the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Hanoi (RCSC).
Being thrilled about studies at HSE University - Saint Petersburg, Aikaterini (Katerina) Kandylidou from Thessaloniki, Greece has shared her real Russian experience of how she was enrolled for a popular Master’s degree programme ‘Experience Economy: Hospitality and Tourism’, and has given some insights into daily life in Russia.
The scope of academic programmes of HSE St. Petersburg in 2018-2019 include brand new Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees open for international students, who are welcome to apply from mid-November 2017. Starting from November 15, 2017 HSE St. Petersburg's programmes now include 32 new Bachelor's and 19 Master's applications. Furthermore, by December, in terms of geography, applications are now accepted from Central America (El Salvador) to Africa (Egypt) and Southeast Asia (Vietnam), in addition to Kazakhstan, Armenia, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan.
