HSE University – St. Petersburg to Launch New Academic Programmes in 2020
Next year HSE University – St. Petersburg will launch 10 new academic programmes. The university will offer new areas of study as well as update already existing programmes.

HSE Places Second Among Russian Universities in THE Humanities Ranking

From September 27-29, HSE University St. Petersburg hosted the Analytics for Management and Economics Conference (AMEC). In anticipation of the conference, HSE News Service sat down with Christofer Gerry, Dean of St Antony's College, Oxford University, and an associated member of the International Centre for Health Economics, Management, and Policy at HSE Universty - St Petersburg, about why he has devoted his life to studying Russia, and what skills Russian students lack.
Potential of International Cooperation
On the first meeting of HSE - Saint Petersburg French Club in a new season a very sensitive topic was discussed – the competition of the world-leading powers and the role of Russia in the Middle East conflict. The meeting was held in the French language with a simultaneous interpretation.
HSE Has Grown in 'The Three University Missions' Ranking.
Despite the fact of the increased competition HSE improved its last year's results and took 121st position in Moscow international university ranking “The Three University Missions”. This year the ranking publishes a list of 1200 universities, which is 4 times more than it was in 2018.
HSE Entered the Top 250 Graduate Universities in the World Ranking
The Higher School of Economics moved into a higher rating range for graduate employment (201-250) for the first time in five years, surpassing more powerful competitors. This year, the number of applicants for getting into the rating increased by 15% (758 universities) while 36 new universities entered the ranking.
