HSE - Saint Petersburg Ranks Among Top 10 Most Selective Universities in Russia
In a recent survey considering the average Russian Unified State Examination scores of first-year enrolees at Russian universities in 2019, HSE - St Petersburg ranked 7th and 5th for the highest exam score averages among students entering state-funded positions and fee-paying positions, respectively. The average exam scores of new HSE enrolees were 92.0 (for those receiving merit-based state funding) and 80.6 (for those paying full tuition). These averages increased by 1.5 and 1.8 points from last year.

HSE University has improved its standing in the general U.S. News Best Global Universities ranking. Today, the agency published its 2019 global rankings. HSE University appeared in the Economics and Business ranking for the first time, placing 235th. We are also the only Russian institution to make the cut.

The Questions of Private Collections Were Discussed in HSE – St. Petersburg for the Second Time
On October 10 and 11, the II International Kotchoubey Readings took place in Higher School of Economics in Saint Petersburg. The conference ‘Private Collections: Objects, History, Emotions’ became an international platform of experience sharing for collectors, Russian private and public museums representatives and leading experts in this field.
