Unilever, one of the world leaders in the production of fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), has become a partner of the 'International Business' Master’s programme.

The company’s team will be active contributors to the educational process, and management representatives will join the programme's academic committee to develop the Unilever corporate track. Industry experts will also give lectures and master classes. Graduate students will polish their skills by participating in problem-solving projects for the company, and the best students will be offered job placements.

Professor Sergey Kadochnikov, Director of HSE University — Saint Petersburg:

The university's partnership with business is a response to real-world demand. It brings relevant projects and the expertise of professionals to the educational process and provides an opportunity to undertake an internship under the guidance of competent mentors. As a result, students boost their knowledge and develop professional and communication skillsets. In this regard, the partnership with Unilever—an industry leader—makes it possible to train qualified managers with relevant competencies. This, in turn, gives them a competitive advantage in the domestic and international labour market.

The partnership under the 'International Business' Master's programme is by no means the first collaboration between HSE University — Saint Petersburg and Unilever. The company has been cooperating with the university's Career Centre and regularly takes part in Career Week and the Higher School of Career.

Unilever is one of the world leaders in the production of fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG). Today, it is a global company with approximately 400 brands in over 190 countries. The company has 140,000 employees engaged in research and development, production, and the sale of consumer goods. In 2020, the company's turnover amounted to 51 billion euros, 58% of which came from emerging markets.
