December is one of the two months during the year when students can transfer to HSE from other academic institutions. To facilitate this process, HSE University has introduced an online service for those seeking a transfer.

Delegation of HSE University in St Petersburg visited Indonesia to deliver guest lectures at the Russian Center for Science and Culture and across universities next to Jakarta.

On November 23-27, 2017 HSE University Saint Petersburg team of Associate Professor Nina Grigoreva and Ekaterina Starikova from the Department of African and Asian Studies, Associate Professor Irina Shchemeleva, chair of the Department of Foreign Languages and Konstantin Platonov, director of the Centre for International Cooperation went to Hanoi, Vietnam within the project 'Dialogue of Cultures: Russia and Asia-Pacific Countries'. The visit was organized by the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Hanoi (RCSC).

Excited by her studies at HSE St Petersburg, Aikaterini (Katerina) Kandylidou, a native of Thessaloniki, Greece, shares her experience of enrolling at HSE in the popular Master’s programme in Experience Economy: Hospitality and Tourism, and gives some insights into daily life in Russia.

The scope of academic programmes of HSE St. Petersburg in 2018-2019 includes brand new Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees open for international students, who are welcome to apply from mid-November 2017.

For the second year now HSE Saint-Petersburg has been gladly welcoming students from UCL School of Slavonic and Eastern European Studies, coming to improve their language skills and immerse themselves into the mysterious Russian culture. Last weekend this year’s group of UCL SSEES students have visited Velikiy Novgorod – the cradle of Russian statehood and a real architectural gem. Helen Fortescue-Poole shared her impressions of the trip and told us about her academic life at HSE Saint-Petersburg.

Being asked about the advantages of studying at HSE one can definitely name its diversity and international atmosphere. This September the HSE campus in Saint-Petersburg welcomed 50 new exchange students from all over the world.  Thomas Murphy, a master exchange student from Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management shared some impressions of his life in Saint-Petersburg.
