Since October 24, the students and lecturers of HSE University have gained free access to the university online courses, numbering more than 200, without the practical and test materials in the system SmartLMS. The courses cover a great variety of topics—from the film analysis to personality psychology and individual differences, from the introduction to machine learning to game theory.

HSE University has taken first place in the ranking of entrepreneurial universities compiled by the ‘Expert’ analytical centre. In four years, the university has risen by five positions. This year, HSE University received the maximum number of points in the categories ‘Founders’, ‘Startups’ and ‘Investments’.

Since 2021, the Master's programme 'Modern Social Analysis' has implemented an academic educational track for students seeking a scientific career. The track has a greater focus on independent research projects, the development of academic skills, and preparation to enrol in a PhD programme. 'Heartwarming and home-Like' is how Jelizaveta Poglid, student of the Master’s programme 'Arts and Culture Management', describes HSE University. By the time she graduated from the Bachelor's programme 'Asian and African Studies', the university had become so dear to her heart that Jelizaveta decided to continue her education in Russia.

Ekaterina Zhizhina, student of the Master's programme 'Business and Politics in Modern Asia', shared her impressions of Ca' Foscari University (Italy) and the specifics of studying on a double-degree programme.

Dmitriy Zhukov graduated from the Saint Petersburg State University of Engineering and Economics, continued his education at the South China University of Technology in Guangzhou (China), and in 2016 successfully defended his PhD dissertation at the Wuhan University of Technology (China). His dissertation topic was 'Crisis Early Warning Management for a Small Hotel Company'. Dmitriy is the author of more than 15 scientific articles on the topic of his dissertation.

In 2022, HSE University-St Petersburg opened three new Bachelor's programmes: 'Media Communications', 'International Bachelor in Business and Economics', 'Digital Platforms and Logistics'. There is one new Master's programme as well: 'Design'. It has been a month since the studies started, so we decided to share the students' impressions of the programmes and tell about the peculiarities of the education at HSE University one more time.
