5-day summer school on Health Technology Assessment. July 18 – 22, 2016.

This 5-day summer school, the first of its kind in Russia, will address this vital topic, starting with 2 days devoted explicitly to the measurement of health benefits, before moving on to consider cost-benefit analysis, cost-utility and cost-effectiveness analysis and other increasingly common methods as well as the design of trial based studies and decision analytic models. The school will be delivered in English by some of the world’s leading experts in this field.

On September 21-23 the 17th International Conference on Harbour, Maritime & Multimodal Logistics Modelling and Simulation (HMS) was held in Italy. This year researchers from over 40 countries including Australia, Austria, Brazil, Britain, Germany, Italy, India, Spain, Canada, China, Norway, France, USA and Japan participated in the event.

New Appointments at School of Economics and Management

Sergey Slobodyan is appointed Head of the Department of Economics and Academic Supervisor of the master’s programme ‘Applied Economics and Mathematical Methods’. Vladimir Matveenko will become Academic Supervisor of the Department of Economics.
