International Conference ‘Reliability and Statistics in Transportation and Communication’

Valery Lukinskiy, Head of the Department of Logistics and Supply Chain Management took part in the international conference ‘Reliability and Statistics in Transportation and Communication’ (RelStat`15) that was held on October 21-22.

He moderated the session on ‘Transport and Logistics’ and presented the reports ‘Analysis of Intermediaries Choice Methods in the Supply Chains at Execution of Transport-Logistic Operations’ and ‘Evaluation of the Influence of the Logistic Operations Reliability on the Total Costs of a Supply Chain’.

The conference was organised for the fifteenth time at Transport and Telecommunication Institute (Riga, Latvia). The participants discussed future research plans. The results of research projects are to be published in the journal ‘Transport and Telecommunication’.
