On April 8, at the St. Petersburg School of Economics and Management, for the first time, the remote opening of the Bar Camp 2020, event was held, organized for first-year masters in the programs "Management and Analytics for Business" and "Finance".

With the goal of minimizing the public health risk to our campus community related to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, all in-person classes will be suspended at HSE University – St Petersburg starting March 17, 2020 until further notice.

March 15 is the deadline for nominating candidates for the HSE Alumni Awards, which are given to outstanding alumni of HSE University. This year, the awards will be given in ten categories.

HSE University has made the 2020 QS World University Rankings by Subject in 23 broad and specific subject areas, which is four more than last year. HSE now ranks in 19 of the 38 subject rankings in which Russian universities are represented; as well as in four out of five broad subject areas. HSE has entered the list of the world’s top 100 universities in five subjects, including History and Social Policy & Administration, where it has ranked for the first time.

On Friday, December 13, the final of the flagship Unilever Future Leaders League case championship was held.The winner was the team from HSE St. Petersburg "Extra sock", in may the guys will go to London to represent Russia at the super final.

International scientific workshop on management was held for the third time on November 25 at the Higher School of Economics - St. Petersburg in cooperation with the Swiss Consulate General in St. Petersburg and the Technopark MOBAHAUS.

This year our Career Week intensively lasted for six days, 18 to 23 November, and our HSE Career development center took care of events’ organizational part.  Career week is a great opportunity for students to become acquainted with the modern labor market, and for employers – to present their opportunities and offers to future applicants. This year, all the HSE sites were occupied in order to attract our students from all educational programs.
