On Monday, March 23, a guest lecture was held for 3rd-year undergraduate students of the School of Economics and Management as part of the Investment Analysis course. The event was hosted by experts from the VERSUS consulting group: Elizaveta Alexandrova, Head of the Financial analysis and Modeling practice, and Valery Kuporov, financial analyst.

As a part of the study project, implemented by students of the Master’s Programme “Arts and Culture Management” under the supervision of Associate Professor of the Management Department Ekaterina Leonidovna Shekova,   the creative journal “Interstice” was launched. The curator of this journal is Seyram Liquenda Klu De-Souza , a first-year student of the Master’s Programme “Arts and Culture Management”.

On March 11, an important educational meeting took place within the framework of the MP Finance – a guest lecture by Alexander Leonidovich Vyalkov, a well-known expert in the field of banking and finance, Professor of the Finance Department of the SHEM. The event was held within the framework of the Mentor's Seminar discipline, the main purpose of which is to present a different view of financial disciplines and the future profession. 

On March 11, an introductory seminar was held in the scientific and educational group "The impact of ESG disclosures, news and corporate events on stock prices and corporate bond spreads: event and sentiment analysis using machine learning", which opened a series of scientific meetings of the group. The NOUGAT research project is dedicated to a comprehensive analysis of how ESG factors, the news background and corporate events affect the dynamics of the Russian stock market and the corporate debt market.

The Guest lecture took place as a part of the Financial analysis course. It was held by a highly professional and experienced person - the former auditor of the Big four and the current Chief internal auditor of an interesting and effective Russian IT company Nanosoft Ekaterina Nikitina.

On 9 January 2026, Boris Lodiagin and Olga Alekseeva, lecturers of the Department of Finance at HSE University – Saint Petersburg, delivered an online guest lecture for undergraduate students in management and business at the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK, India). The session was held at the invitation of Vipin P. Veetil (Chair Assistant Professor of Economics) and was titled “History and Evolution of the Russian Financial System: From the Tsarist Period to Today’s Sanctions-Era Reality.”

In November 2025, students from the Master's program 'International Business in the Asia-Pacific Region' at HSE University – St Petersburg took part in an off-site educational session at the office of Evercode Lab, a leading Russian IT firm renowned for its work with international teams and clients. 

Students of the Master's Programme "International Business in the Asia-Pacific Region" participated in the international tourism forum "Travel Hub 2025" in St. Petersburg from December 11 to 13, 2025, as part of their study of the "Place Branding" course developed by Ekaterina Shekova, Associate Professor of the Management Department.

Large international event has gathered delegations from 10 countries with the purpose of establishment and reinforcement of cooperation between universities of different parts of the world. Leaders of the institutes signed bilateral agreements, Saint-Petersburg Higher school of economics launched a center of excellence, faculty representatives discussed initiatives and mutual arrangements, held lectures and master-classes for students, all the guests were bestowed with memorial awards. The summit also included a festive opening ceremony and speeches of the founders of the university, national dances, collective contests, traditional food, visits to the Indian village and the golden temple in Amritsar.

From November 8 to 11, the international scientific conference on entrepreneurship “Entrepreneurship for Sustainability & Impact (ESI)” was held in Doha (Qatar).
