HSE University-St Petersburg hosted the Indian Students Week. The event gathered more than 50 students from India. The students represented 15 top universities in the country. In particular, there were representatives of IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, UPES, IIM Amritsar and others. The goal of this large-scale initiative of HSE University-St Petersburg is to introduce talented students from India to educational opportunities in Russia, in particular, HSE educational programmes in four directions: business and economics, design, social and computer sciences.

The Working Group on Education, Science and Technologies had the first meeting organised by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Higher Education of Malaysia. The participants discussed the cooperation formats, including the development of the mirror laboratory of HSE University-St Petersburg and Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in the sphere of social entrepreneurship which was officially opened during the HSE International Partners' Days.

HSE University-St Petersburg and Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) have opened a mirror laboratory in the sphere of social entrepreneurship. The opening ceremony of the Russian part of this laboratory took place in the framework of the International Partners' Days which gathered delegations from 23 foreign universities.

In November 2023, a representative office of HSE University opened in Indonesia. This new educational hub is designed to help students from the Asia-Pacific (APAC) who are planning to study in Russia. The representative office is based at Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS) in the city of Surabaya. The office is headed by Bima Yatna Anugerah Ramadhani, HSE University-St Petersburg graduate of the Master’s programme ‘Management and Analytics for Business’. On May 23 in the Presidential Library in St Petersburg, leaders and experts from 23 universities of 15 countries participated in the first day of the International Partners' Days. Apart from the lively discussion about global tendencies in the development of higher education, HSE University has signed partner agreements with the universities of India, Uzbekistan and Oman.

From April 26 to May 7, a team of professors and students from HSE University-St Petersburg conducted a field study in the Indian Himalayas. We asked Aleksei Sorbale, an academic supervisor of the Bachelor's programme 'Political Science and World Politics', and Pavel Bazarov, a graduate of the Bachelor's programme and a student of the Master's programme 'Global and Regional History', to tell us about their research and share their impressions of the expedition.
