Second year student in the programme 'Applied and Interdisciplinary History: Usable Pasts', Augusto Castanho da Maia Petter, has been admitted to the European University Institute Doctoral Programme in the Department of History and Civilization (Florence).

HSE Students Win Vis Moot
On March 29th, an HSE Faculty of Law team was the first in Russian history to win the The Annual Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot (Vis Moot). It beat the University of Cambridge in the finals, and was the best among 362 university teams from around the globe. The Annual Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot is a model international commercial arbitration court. The competition was held in English at the University of Vienna.

HSE University and St. Petersburg Through the Eyes of a Chinese Student
Zhang Siyu is a Master’s student at HSE University – St. Petersburg. Originally from China, Zhang Siyu moved to Kiev, Ukraine as a Bachelor’s student, where she majored in the Russian language.
