In January, UPES University (India) held the International Student Winter School 'Business and Governance in India'. HSE University continues to develop cooperation with educational institutions in the Asia-Pacific region. A delegation from HSE University-St Petersburg participated in the annual conference 'International Convention for Global Partnerships' in New Delhi.

In the framework of a major academic mission to Latin America, a delegation from HSE University visited the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV), a Brazilian higher education institution and analytical centre for training specialists in administration. Representatives of FGV have expressed their interest in signing a cooperation agreement in the spheres of media communications and game theory.

HSE University and the Adolfo Ibáñez University (UAI) in Chile have signed a letter of intent. The document was signed by Anna Tyshetskaya, Director of HSE University-St Petersburg, and Claudio Osorio, Vice President of UAI's Viña del Mar campus. This is the first agreement between HSE and a Chilean university.

In the framework of a major academic mission to Latin America, a delegation from HSE University-St Petersburg has visited leading Peruvian universities. Peru is considered to be a platform for creating an academic hub for work across the continent.

For the first time in its history, HSE University enters the educational market of Colombia. The representatives of HSE University-St Petersburg agreed to carry out joint projects with key universities of this country during the academic mission to the countries of Latin America.
