Liudmila Veselova, Associate Professor at the Department of Management, HSE University-St Petersburg, is among 70 winners of the All-Russian Competition for enlighteners 'Knowledge.Lecturer'. During the new course Accounting 2 as part of the Financial specialization on International Bachelor's in Business and Economics programme students worked on the course project for which they invented a business, described processes and risks of the company, planned events and financial calculations for 2 years, executed accounting transactions and prepared financial statements. 

We are proud and happy to announce that the master's students in the "Finance" program at HSE - St. Petersburg demonstrated the highest level of preparation and ambition. The team "CASE ME HARDER," consisting of first-year master's students — Vsevolod Nikolaev, Ivan Rogov, Alisa Belkova, and Viktoriia Mitropolskaia — won the case championship "Cooperation with the Corporation," organized by HSE - St. Petersburg in collaboration with Setl Group.

The Master's programme "Finance" (direction 38.04.08 "Finance and Credit") has successfully confirmed accreditation by ACCA for the next 5 years.

Students of the School of Economics and Management took part in the international competition CFA Regional Societies Research Challenge which was held in Abu Dhabi (UAE). At this competition, the team from HSE University-St Petersburg represented Russia and took third place as a result.

At HSE University-St Petersburg, professors pay a lot of attention to the practical training of students. Thanks to it, students are able to build their careers in the companies of their dreams starting from the first years of their studies. This year, 60 HSE University-St Petersburg professors were named the best based on a student poll and the results of the Student Research Paper Competition. Sixteen of them have received this title three years in a row. Read on to find out more about the winners and the voting procedure.

The ‘Expert’ analytical centre has published its ranking of the publication activity of Russian universities for 2023. HSE University has improved its position in six subjects and two narrow sections.

The Master's programme 'Finance' was opened at HSE University-St Petersburg in 2009. Since then, it has been awarded several international accreditations, entered into an agreement to implement a double-degree programme with an Italian university, and extended its cooperation with large companies. From their first year, the programme's students start solving real tasks from industry partners. HSE University has taken 41st place, becoming the only Russian university on the Top-50 of Times Higher Education Young University Rankings.
