HSE University took second place in the new 2023 ranking of universities in the digital economy in Moscow and St Petersburg, having lost only to Bauman Moscow State Technical University. HSE University outperformed specialised IT universities such as Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (third place) and ITMO University (fifth place), as well as Moscow State University (fourth place).

For a whole month, visitors will be able to see works by students of the HSE University-St Petersburg Art and Design School at the House of Cinema. The exhibition '213х203.ZIP' opened on January 17 in the White Hall of the cinema centre. The event also featured a showing of trailers and film studio idents.

Such active work in the sphere of international relations opens up numerous opportunities for HSE students, from academic mobility and double-degree programmes to daily communication with professors and other students from all over the world. The HSE University-St Petersburg International Office reports on the results of international activity in 2023.

A report by researchers from the Strategic Entrepreneurship Centre received an award at the international conference AIB-MENA (Academy of International Business—Middle-East North Africa) in Morocco. The authors of the work were Galina Shirokova and Aleksandra Zakharova.

Andrey Punin, the main curator of the track 'Environment and Interior', and graduate Veronica Gareeva developed a design concept for an exposition titled 'Porcelain of the Tsars', which opened in the National Museum in Belgrade as part of the Hermitage Days event in Serbia.

At HSE University-St Petersburg, professors pay a lot of attention to the practical training of students. Thanks to it, students are able to build their careers in the companies of their dreams starting from the first years of their studies.
