HSE University-St Petersburg announces the call for the Summer School in the Himalayas which will take place from June 30 to July 13, 2025.

In October, the faculty and staff of HSE University-St Petersburg held the HSE International Olympiad and Mathematical Olympiad by HSE University at three schools in Hanoi. The tasks on social sciences were designed by professors of HSE University-St Petersburg. During the trip, the delegation also visited higher education institutions in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, including VNU University of Economics and Business (VNU-UEB), a partner of HSE University-St Petersburg. There, professors delivered a series of open lectures for students.

One life is too short to get to know HSE University-St Petersburg thoroughly. But to get acquainted with it well, one HSE SPB Day will be enough. On September 13, we invite the first-years and everyone interested to 'Sevkabel Port' for a kaleidoscope of pleasant emotions and impressions. We will show you how eventful and interesting university years will be and introduce you to the professors, business partners and other active students. HSE University-St Petersburg hosted the Indian Students Week. The event gathered more than 50 students from India. The students represented 15 top universities in the country. In particular, there were representatives of IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, UPES, IIM Amritsar and others. The goal of this large-scale initiative of HSE University-St Petersburg is to introduce talented students from India to educational opportunities in Russia, in particular, HSE educational programmes in four directions: business and economics, design, social and computer sciences.

In April, HSE University-St Petersburg held the conference 'HSEIMUN 2024'. This year, it gathered more than 100 delegates from among university and school students from Russia and Kazakhstan. The most active participants received souvenirs. Check out how the event went in the article.

From September 25–29, HSE University-Moscow hosted International Partners’ Week. Annually, HSE University gathers representatives of the world’s leading universities and academic supervisors of HSE educational programmes from campuses in Moscow, St Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod and Perm. The participants of International Partners’ Week discuss development trends in the system of higher education and find opportunities for implementing new directions of cooperation between universities.

On April 8–10, HSE University-St Petersburg will hold the fifth Model United Nations conference (MUN). The event will take place offline in English and both current and prospective students can participate. The application deadline is March 15. Evgeny Akulov and Evgeniya Zubko, graduates of the Bachelor's programme 'Political Science and World Politics', took part in the World Universities Debating Championships Belgrade 2022. They qualified for the playoffs and were ranked among the top 10 teams in the category 'English as a Foreign Language'.

In the previous interview with the programme's Academic Supervisor we mentioned a promising academic collaboration between HSE University – Saint Petersburg and the University of Milan. More about how the signed agreement on the double degree track will allow the programme's best students to study in Italy for at least a semester and obtain two diplomas issued by both universities tell Ksenia Tenisheva and Prof. Luigi Curini.
