The international ambassador project is one of the leading projects by the International Office of HSE University — St. Petersburg. This project helps create awareness about the University in various countries and hometowns. Ibuowo Grace, a fourth-year student of the BA Programme 'Political Science and World Politics' who is serving her second year as the international student ambassador of HSE University, told us about her experience.

On the 17th of November, the HSE SPb held an annual students’ conference - Research Day. 7 students from the Saint-Petersburg school of social science and area studies programmes took wins in all tracks.

Upon finishing undergraduate and graduate programmes in Political Science (2014, 2016), Sofia Glazunova went to study in a PhD programme in Australia. Now Sofia is a research fellow at Queensland University of Technology (QUT), lecturer, and the author of the book I'm Going to Live in Brisbane, dedicated to her experience of moving to Australia and myths about studying abroad. In an interview, Sofia discusses her blog on Telegram, how it was transformed into a book, and the pitfalls one can encounter in the publishing business.
The Centre for Youth Studies organized a course 'Urban Youth Cultures' for students of Aarhus University (Denmark). The faculty of the Department of Sociology and a student of the programme 'Modern Social Analysis' talk about the Denmark students' research topics and distance learning.
Nikolay Kapanadze, a student of 'Asian and African Studies' bachelor’s programme, went for an exchange to Japan where he studied at Akita International University. The student tasted traditional food such as sushi and miso soup, travelled to Tokyo, and even worked in a local noodle restaurant. Nikolay told HSE – Saint Petersburg why it is necessary to have cash in Japan, where one can relax in Tokyo, and what are meal prices at the university canteen.
The agreement between HSE University – Saint Petersburg and Russian-Chinese Business Park was signed on December 4. Under the agreement, the parties will organize joint events including conferences, forums, exhibitions, round table discussions, on the business-park platforms. HSE students will have the opportunity to do their internships at Russian-Chinese Business-Park (RCBP).
