The Higher School of Economics Library supports the teaching, learning and research activities of the HSE community through the provision of high-quality, international information resources.
The library has a large-scale collection tailored to meet the needs of the programmes and courses delivered at HSE. The majority of the collection relates to the fields of economics, management, and social and political sciences.
The library's reading room provides a quiet space for studying.
The library has an electronic catalogue and makes use of the latest technology available to ensure that the highest level of service is provided.
The facilities include:
— Computers with high-speed internet access;
— Wireless connection to the internet;
— Photocopying & scanning machines;
— Remote access to the Electronic Resources;
— Electronic catalogues;
— Electronic RFID book registry terminals (Self-Service Checkout).
The HSE St. Petersburg Library is located in four university buildings:
— 16 Soyuz Pechatnikov Street
— 17 Promyshlennaya Street
— 55/2 Sedov Street
— 3 Kantemirovskaya Street
Students have full access to all the library resources and facilities and it is possible to order a book to be delivered from another building.

Mon – Fri - 10.00 a.m. - 6.00 p.m.
Sat – Sun - closed.
