Visa & Immigration Support for International Students at HSE University – Saint Petersburg

Important:

1.  Submission of documents from international students for initial migration registration (after each entry into Russia) is carried out at the Visa and Immigration Support Center office at 3 Kantemirovskaya St., Bldg. 1, Office 1005; detailed information is available via the link.

2. Starting January 1, 2025, the period of temporary stay in the Russian Federation for a foreign citizen who arrived in the Russian Federation in cases that do not require a visa cannot exceed a total period of 90 days. Exceptions apply to cases listed in Law No. 115-FZ of July 25, 2002 "On the Legal Status of Foreign Citizens in the Russian Federation" or by international agreements of the Russian Federation, as well as cases where the period of temporary stay of a foreign citizen in Russia has been extended. 

3. Starting September 1, 2025, state fees are introduced: for temporary registration (500 RUB.) and extension of migration card (1,000 RUB.). Please find more information at the link.

4. On July 27, 2026, a law increasing the amount of state fees entered into force: 6,000 RUB for issuing a multiple-entry visa.
