HSE University St. Petersburg welcomes your interest in spending one or two semesters as an exchange student from one of our partner universities. Further information on partner universities can be found on the websites of the other HSE campuses (Moscow, Perm and Nizhny Novgorod).
As an international student at HSE University St. Petersburg, you will be able to choose from a wide range of undergraduate and graduate courses taught in English. If you are fluent in Russian, you will also have access to courses taught in Russian.
The majority of courses are taught by HSE faculty, with several courses taught by international staff. We support diversity in our university and firmly believe in the unique value of international and intercultural learning. Time spent studying abroad will pay dividends in making you more competitive in the job market and providing access to international research opportunities. You will gain insights not only from your classes but through interacting with HSE students (including through the Buddies Network and by participating in Student Life activities).

HOW TO APPLY?
If you would like to do an exchange at HSE University St. Petersburg, please apply to the International Office of your home university, stating your interest in studying at HSE University St. Petersburg. International mobility coordinators at your home university will be able to provide you with detailed information on how your institution can support your application to study at our university.
At the same time, please fill in the application form on our website or alternatively simply send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. We will be happy to hear from you and answer any questions you might have.
Please note that the application deadline for the fall semester is May 15, and for the spring semester the deadline is October 15. Although early planning is important, in some cases we might be able to accept your application at shorter notice, so please contact us for details. However, please bear in mind that it can take up to a month to process a study invitation letter for a Russian visa.
