2017-2018 Courses in English
HSE University St. Petersburg presents a large range of multidisciplinary courses taught in English for both Master's and Bachelor's programmes
We have an exciting range of courses in Economics, Finance, History, Political Science, Public Administration, Sociology as well as in Areas Studies. We also offer Russian as a Foreign Language, which is available for exchange students from partner universities free of charge (NB except for free-movers) during the first semester of their stay. The expected workload for the course is 8 ECTS.
Selecting Your Course
Please, get to know our selection for Master's level and Bachelor's level (including Minors) courses selection. All of the courses are distributed according HSE Study Programme. You will find all the necessary information in the Course Outline files.
Please, fill out the Course Selection Form where you include all of the courses you are interested in taking.
NOTE: When choosing courses, consider carefully the appropriate level of course, the relevance of the course to your home university degree and the ECTS workload of the courses as well as the semester and quarter in which they are scheduled to run. We have “quarters system” here in HSE, so make sure you are choosing courses from quarter 1 and 2 for Fall semester and 3 and 4 for Spring semester.
Important: Bachelor's students may choose year 1 master's courses, but must have a main selection of Bachelors course as well.
A full academic year is 60 ECTS, while a semester (2 quarters) is 30 ECTS.
