On November 29, the campus hosted the Expert Day of the mirror laboratory of HSE University-St Petersburg and the University of Technology Malaysia. The official partner of the event was the foundation 'Our Future'.
On November 4, the International Science Fiction Symposium 'Inventing the Future' started in Moscow at the Russia National Centre. Guests and experts discussed what humanity will be like in several decades in the rapidly changing global space. Professors from HSE University-St Petersburg were guest speakers at the symposium.
On November 19, HSE University-St Petersburg and other Russian universities celebrate the Day of Higher School Professors. To commemorate the occasion, we talked to Yury Kabanov, whom the students chose as the best professor eight times over his ten-year career at HSE University. In the interview, the professor explains how to stay a good professor, why one should deliver lectures at schools, and why it is hard to give students grades.
