HSE students are invited to participate in a design competition in which a series of three illustrations will be selected. Submissions will be accepted until May 22. The winning patch projects will be set in the form of stripes on adidas bomber jackets. The author of the best work will travel to the head office of adidas in Germany.

The new HSE International Centre for Health Economics, Management and Policy (CHEMP) is seeking to recruit a number of Masters (or advanced Bachelors) students to work or undertake study/research experience within the activities of the research centre. Based in the new Kantemirovskaya building, CHEMP is a multidisciplinary research initiative exploring leading edge issues in the health economy, including: the management of cardiovascular disease; the measurement of health outcomes and experiences; the economics of smoking; the challenges of health reform in a shrinking economy; policies to improve health behaviours; the healthy ageing of the population; and the growing problem of mental illness.

On Tuesday, October 7, at 5:00 p.m., BBC News Special Correspondent Allan Little and Charlie Taylor, the Executive Producer of “The War That Changed The World,” will give a presentation on “Representations of the Past and Current History in Media” at the regular Research Seminar "Boundaries of History" of the Center for Historical Research and the Department of History of the Higher School of Economics in St. Petersburg.
