On May 23 and 24, 2016 the Game Theory Laboratory of the HSE St Petersburg held its first international conference entitled "Game Theory and Mechanism Design", in memory of the late Victor Domanskiy.

The workshop on 'Health Economics in Russia: past, present and future?' was hosted by the International Centre for Health Economics, Management and Policy (CHEMP) of HSE Saint Petersburg on March 21, 2016 within the International Spatial Development Forum.

Fifteen MBA students of Global Business from Rutgers Business School, USA, visited HSE in St. Petersburg to participate in a roundtable discussion on the specifics of doing business in Russia.

Professor Wagner delivers a lecture at HSE Saint Petersburg on 'Progress: A Reconstruction'

In HSE Saint-Petersburg, a lecture on topic of "Urban Transformations" was delivered by the Dutch urbanist, Evert Verhagen. The lecture was held with the support of the Museum of Street Art and the Consulate General of the Netherlands in St. Petersburg.

The International Laboratory for Comparative Social Research (LCSR) was established in 2010 in the first wave of a competition for government mega-grants to attract major academics from abroad to Russian universities. The famous American sociologist and political scientist Ronald Inglehart, Founding President of the World Values Survey and professor at the University of Michigan, became the laboratory’s first Academic Supervisor.  

Lukas Geyer, a free-mover student from the University of Bayreuth in Germany, is currently studying in the Bachelor’s programme in Economics at HSE St. Petersburg. Lukas recently spoke to the HSE news service about his studies and connections to Russian culture.
