As the new academic year kicks off at HSE University in Saint Petersburg, local student Andrei Kustyshev is stepping up to help international students navigate their new environment. To foster connections among the first-year students in the Master of Data Analytics for Business and Economics program, a weekend tour is organized to introduce newcomers to the city’s iconic landmarks while enhancing the bond between classmates.

On March 15, Markovskaya Elizaveta, associate professor of te department of finance,  and Kolawole Shola, lecturer of the Department of Management, held an interactive defense of projects in the form of business game within the discipline “Financial Performance Management” (Master’s program “Data Analytics for Business and Economics”) with the participation of invited external experts and practitioners.

From October 2023 to January 2024, students of the Master's programme "Management and Analytics for Business" and "Data Analytics for Business and Economics" implemented a consulting project for the company "Lenta" St. Petersburg.
March 15
On February 21, 2024, second-year master's students from the St. Petersburg Higher School of Economics in the "Management and Analytics for Business" program, Veronika Anushchenko, Ekaterina Manannikova, and Alexandra Isaeva, spoke at the round table of the Labor Forum on "The Role of Trust and Networking in Expanding Career Opportunities."
February 26
Last year marked the inception of an ambitious project led by a group of nine students, focused on elevating the user experience for applicants to the "Data Analytics for Business and Economics" program through the implementation of a comprehensive FAQ chatbot (@datahsebot). In the current academic year, a dedicated team of three students (Ivan Vitkovskiy, Evgenii Galushkin, Alexander Epaneshnikov) under the guidance of Professor Natalia Volkova, has undertaken the responsibility of not only advancing but completely overhauling and refining the existing chatbot.
