Study in St Petersburg: Admissions Open for International Students
International admissions for Bachelor's and Master's programmes at HSE University – St Petersburg are now open! We are inviting applications for 12 Bachelor's and 17 Master's programmes in such spheres as Economics, Management, Social Sciences, Oriental Studies, History, Law, and Computer Science.
A number of programmes are fully taught in English and offer double degree opportunities with European universities. International students can apply and take entrance exams online. Early applications are eligible for scholarships and tuition fee waivers.
This year, we have broadened the range of programmes which now inlcude Russian-taught programmes in Computer Science such as Bachelor's Programme 'Applied Mathematics and Information Science', Master's Programmes 'Software Development and Data Analysis' and 'Enterprise Software Development'.
Bachelor's programmes
Bachelor's programmes 'Sociology and Social Informatics', 'Political Science and World Politics', and 'International Business and Management Studies' are fully taught in English. Moreover, the two latter have double degree tracks with the University of Rome Tor Vergata. Students from the Bachelor's programme in 'Economics' also have the opportunity to participate in the double degree track with Pompeu Fabra University.

Master's programmes
Five Master’s programmes are fully delivered in English: 'Applied and Interdisciplinary History 'Usable Pasts'', 'Management and Analytics for Business', 'Comparative Politics of Eurasia', 'Business and Politics in Modern Asia', and 'Finance' which offers double degree tracks with ESSCA and UCL. Besides, a double degree track with LUISS is offered by the Master’s programme 'Applied Economics and Mathematical Methods'.

How to apply
Applications are accepted online. To apply for Bachelor's programmes, it is necessary to submit an application and then sit exams online or on-site. Master's programmes require submitting a portfolio in accordance with the requirements of each programme and then passing an interview.
Students may apply to 2 programmes at the same time, marking the programmes as their first and the second priorities.
Applications have to be submitted by August 10, 2019 – for citizens from countries with visa regime, and by August 20, 2019 – for citizens from visa-free countries.
Tuition fee waivers and full scholarships are available. Tuition fee waivers cover a substantial part of the annual tuition fee: for Bachelor’s programme – 25-70%, for Master’s programmes – 25-50%.
