Opeyemi Ogundiran, hailing from Nigeria, is to complete her Master's in Arts and Culture Management in June 2024. However, her journey in Russia is far from over. With a desire to delve deeper into the professional landscape of this vibrant nation, Opeyemi is set to apply for permanent residence and remain in Russia. For her, the prospect of applying for permanent residence in Russia symbolizes more than just a legal status – it represents a commitment to fully immerse herself in the cultural and professional fabric of her adopted home. Of 8 years and counting! With a deep appreciation for fashion, art, and a keen understanding of cultural dynamics, Opeyemi envisions herself contributing to the vibrant creative scene in Russia while forging connections that transcend borders and boundaries. She has set her sights on carving out a niche for herself in the Russian professional sphere while continuing to immerse herself in the rich cultural tapestry of Saint Petersburg.
Meanwhile, Nathasia Amoani, a proud Ghanaian, has her heart set on returning to her homeland to kickstart her professional career. Armed with a Master's degree in Management and Analytics for Business, Nathasia is eager to apply her newfound knowledge and skills to make a tangible impact in her community. Nathasia is primed to drive innovation and foster sustainable growth within Ghana's burgeoning business landscape. Her decision to pursue a personal side hustle reflects her entrepreneurial spirit and her unwavering determination to seize every opportunity for growth and self-discovery. But her ambitions don't end there – she plans to cultivate her entrepreneurial spirit by launching a personal side hustle, demonstrating her commitment to both professional growth and personal fulfillment.
Elizabeth Waweru Wanjiku, representing Kenya, is a shining example of determination and ambition. With her Master's in Management and Analytics for Business in hand, Elizabeth is ready to take the corporate world by storm as a Data Analyst. But her journey doesn't stop there – fueled by an insatiable thirst for knowledge, she is set to pursue a second Master's degree. Balancing her academic pursuits with aspirations of starting a family, Elizabeth epitomizes the modern-day trailblazer, determined to chart her own course amidst life's myriad opportunities. Meanwhile, Elizabeth Waweru Wanjiku's journey is one of academic excellence and personal fulfillment.
Last but certainly not least, Mayowa Agbeniga, a fellow Nigerian, has his sights set on a lofty goal – a PhD in Arts & Design at HSE. Already an established artist with a burgeoning start-up in his home country, Mayowa's passion for the arts knows no bounds. Building upon the foundation of his Master's in Arts and Culture Management, Mayowa is ready to delve deeper into his craft, armed with the knowledge and expertise needed to make a lasting impact in the world of academia. But his ambitions extend beyond the ivory tower – Mayowa plans to simultaneously nurture his entrepreneurial spirit by launching his own art business right here in Russia, proving that creativity and commerce can indeed go hand in hand.
As we bid adieu to our future graduates, we are reminded of the boundless possibilities that await them on their respective journeys. Whether it's pursuing further academic endeavors, diving headfirst into the professional world, or striking out as an entrepreneur, one thing is clear – the future is bright for the graduates of HSE University.
