Melissa Övem – Istanbul, Turkey – HSE Arts and Culture Management 2021

I am quite glad to have the opportunity to have an art class at Hermitage. My best days are spent in museums and/or studying art, therefore I find it remarkable that our programme partnered with The State Hermitage Museum meanwhile our lecturers are linked with museums such as the Manege Central Exhibition Hall and The Fabergé Museum”

During the four years of living and studying in St. Petersburg, visiting museums and exhibitions are one of my few extracurricular activities. In this process, the artistic atmosphere of St. Petersburg affects me. I gradually became interested in this industry. Just at this time, I found that HSE offered such courses, so I chose this program. Before this, I had no education about art and had never thought about a future career about art. So everything in this program is new and challenging for me”
