HSE Saint Petersburg Summer School is a chance for you to explore one of the most exciting cities in the world while getting a high-quality education. We offer you an opportunity to combine different courses from various fields of studies — Economics, Finance, Management, Social Sciences and Humanities — and receive ECTS credits while gaining insights into the Russian world.
This year, we prepared a cultural programme for the participants of HSE Saint Petersburg Summer School. Modern Russia: Language and Culture (3 ECTS) – RUS/ENG
As a Russian poet Fyodor Tyutchev claimed you could not grasp Russia with your mind, but we believe our classes on language and culture will help you get there.
POLITICAL SCIENCE AND INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS
Politics and International Relations
Introduction to Digital Politics: Eurasia in the Global Context (4 ECTS) – Online – ENG
Approaching the study of government and politics in connection to digital technologies and social media, this course provides a broad introduction to revolutionising concepts of digital politics.
Public Administration in the Post-Soviet Space (3 ECTS) – RUS
The course covers the major characteristics and peculiarities of public administration in the countries which used to be a part of the Soviet Union.
Challenges of Digital Governance (3 ECTS) – Online – ENG
The course introduces the key topics of digital governance (e-government, e-participation) implementation from the perspective of Political Science.

Trough this course you will learn basic media communication skills.
Design Daily Diary (DDD) (3 ECTS)
Through this course you will create your own zine using handy items such as tickets, magazines, receipts, photos, notes, and more.
