Course Description
Each day, students study one of the types of engraving and make prints. The course will finish with making creative works in the chosen technique and the final exhibition of works made within the intensive course.

- Day 1. Introduction to Printmaking, Relief print / Collography,
- Day 2. Relief print / Linocut
- Day 3. Relief print / Chinecolle, using coloured paper, ready-made prints
- Day 4. Monotype / Black and white monotype / Colour monotype
- Day 5. Intaglio / Dry point,
- Day 6. Intaglio / Etching / Aquatint
- Day 7. Creative works production
- Solo working (9 academic hours)
- The intensive programme also includes visits to museums and galleries in St Petersburg, meetings with various artists in their studios.
Skills and Competence
During this course, students will learn the basics of printmaking, relief printmaking, monotype, collography, and etching.
Teaching Methods
Workshops, individual projects, practical training, visiting museums, exhibitions and artists' studios.
Prerequisites
Computer classes and printing workshop are provided for students, the only requirement is English language proficiency.
Final Assessment
Individual project presentation.
Final Grade Background
