Students of HSE University-St Petersburg can go on exchange studies abroad not only during the bachelor's degree. Daria Orekhova, a 2nd-year student of the Master's programme 'Media Production and Media Analytics', spent the autumn semester at one of the best universities in China. The delegation from HSE University-St Petersburg headed by director Anna Tyshetskaya visited more than ten universities in Japan to strengthen research and academic cooperation. HSE representatives met the heads of the country's leading universities, among which were Soka University, Tokai University, Sophia University, Hitotsubashi University, Hosei University, Osaka University, Kwansei Gakuin University, Tokyo University Of Foreign Studies and others. Among the priority areas of cooperation are humanitarian and Asian and African research, online training and programmes of academic exchange.

A delegation from HSE University-St Petersburg headed by Evgeny Zelenev, Director of the Institute of Asian and African Studies, has visited the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies (TSUOS). The meeting marked a new stage of cooperation development between the leading educational institutions in Russia and Uzbekistan.

Tobias Vilhena de Moraes is a historian working at Museu Lasar Segall inSão Paulo, Brazil, and a faculty member of the Institute of Philosophy and Human Sciences at the University of Campinas. He is now working on a master’s degree at HSE University-St Petersburg.

On March 16, the New Stage of Alexandrinsky Theatre will hold the fifth, anniversary CIBA—an annual educational conference devoted to creative industries. The event is organised by curators and students of HSE University-St Petersburg together with the representatives of the New Stage. This year's topic is trend watching, and the symbol is Tetris which reflects the industry’s challenges: an ability to adapt quickly and think ahead.
