The Awarding Ceremony of the 25th Anti-Anniversary ‘Golden HSE Award’ took place on December 1, 2017. Five representatives of the Higher School of Economics in St Petersburg became its winners.

The Institute of Continuing Professional Education at HSE in St. Petersburg has been certified as an Academic Partner of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).

Professor Alexander Sungurov was awarded a medal «for the protection of human rights in the Republic of Ingushetia».

Higher School of Economic – Saint Petersburg took the 6^th position in quality of budget-funded admission in the country in 2017 according to the data gathered in the 8^th annual monitoring regarding quality students enrolled into Russian higher educational institutions based on the results of  Unified State Exam (USE) and Olympiads in 2017 – informs  International Information Agency ‘Rossiya Segodnya’.

Higher School of Economics in Saint-Petersburg is now recognized as a registered education provider (R.E.P.) of the Project Management Institute (PMI).

In July 2017, the HSE Center for Historical Research has joined the European Information and Research Network on Parliament History. The Center for Historical Research is the only research organization from Russia among the network members.

On July 21, 2017 HSE represented by HSE St. Petersburg School of Economics & Management joined the AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business), one of the major professional associations of business schools and became part of its extensive global network.

Bachelor of Management 'International Business' major has partnered with CIME (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants).
