Guest lecture of one of the largest auditors in Russia – the company Technologies of Trust (TeDo) presented by the partner Alexey Kulikov took place in High school of economics in Saint-Petersburg at 16^th of October as part of the International financial reporting standards course. Audit experience of Alexey includes more than 18 years, more than 20 completed engagements, more than 1000 team members. TeDo executes services to more than 400 clients, includes general and tax audit, risk assessment and sustainability reporting.

On September 30, 2024, the first-year students of the Master’s program in Finance participated in an exciting business game that showcased various aspects of the financial world. Organized by the head of the Department of Finance, Professor Varvara Nazarova, and Professor Iya Churakova, the event aimed to introduce students to the diverse roles within finance, preparing them for future career paths.

In June, as part of the Financial Management course (taught at the International Business and Management program), an open lecture was held with the participation of Olga Nikolaevna Voronova, Head of the Marketing Department of JSC Lengiprotrans. Practical aspects of working with investors and creditors were discussed at the lecture. Great attention was paid to preparing for pitching - presenting investment projects in the format of short presentations. The recommendations made during this open lecture were then applied by the students as part of the defense of projects that took place in the format of a 5-minute pitching.

On June 30, HSE University-St Petersburg gathered almost 5000 guests at KSK 'Arena' for the main event of this summer—graduation 2024. Bachelor's and master's students were congratulated by their friends and family, professors and faculty deans as well as HSE University-St Petersburg trustees. The diplomas of HSE University-St Petersburg were awarded to more than 1400 people, and 280 of them received the diplomas with honours. On March 15, Markovskaya Elizaveta, associate professor of te department of finance,  and Kolawole Shola, lecturer of the Department of Management, held an interactive defense of projects in the form of business game within the discipline “Financial Performance Management” (Master’s program “Data Analytics for Business and Economics”) with the participation of invited external experts and practitioners.

On March 17, the New Stage of the Alexandrinsky Theatre hosted the conference about creative industries 'CIBA: Creative industries. Business. Art'. It is a joint project of the students of the Master's programme 'Arts and Culture Management' and the theatre. At the CIBA venue, experts discussed the topic of creative crises in the work of a creator.
