The 12th Annual International Workshop ‘Intangibles, Intellectual Capital and Extra-Financial Information’ will take place from September 22 – 23, 2016, at HSE’s campus in St. Petersburg. The workshop is being organized by the European Institute for Advanced Studies in Management (EIASM) in conjunction with HSE and the University of Ferrara. This event will be a new step in the long history of this forum, which is aimed at academic exchange of theoretical and empirical qualitative and quantitative research regarding intellectual capital.

Scholars at HSE St. Petersburg have published their research in a new monograph for international tourism professionals.

Professor Paul Kind, University of Leeds, led the International Centre for Health Economics, Management and Policy seminar at the HSE St Petersburg.

Valery Lukinskiy, Head of the Department of Logistics and Supply Chain Management took part in the international conference ‘Reliability and Statistics in Transportation and Communication’ (RelStat`15) that was held on October 21-22.

From October 9th – 10th, 2015, Anton Baranov, Professor at the Department of Applied Mathematics and Business Informatics, was a guest speaker at the North British Functional Analysis Seminar, which took place at Newcastle University in Great Britain. He shared his impressions of the event.

On September 21-23 the 17th International Conference on Harbour, Maritime & Multimodal Logistics Modelling and Simulation (HMS) was held in Italy. This year researchers from over 40 countries including Australia, Austria, Brazil, Britain, Germany, Italy, India, Spain, Canada, China, Norway, France, USA and Japan participated in the event.

The lecturers at the Department of Finance conduct research in different fields. During the summer many of our staff members participated in international conferences and published their papers.
