Hello! My name is Evans Amponsah Addai, and I am honoured to serve as an ambassador for HSE University-St Petersburg. Originally from Ghana, I am currently pursuing my Master's degree in International Business in the Asia Pacific Region.

I chose HSE University for its outstanding reputation in international business education and its commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive academic environment. As an ambassador, I am excited to share my personal experiences and insights with prospective students and to promote the university’s mission of enhancing its global presence in the scientific and educational communities.

I believe that cultural exchange and collaboration are vital in today’s interconnected world, and I am eager to contribute to initiatives that strengthen our university's international ties.

In addition to my academic pursuits, I enjoy exploring the rich history and diverse culture of Russia. I am also an avid traveller and love to learn about new languages and traditions. My name is Samuel Ayuk, and I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in International Business at HSE University-St Petersburg. I am honored to represent not only my university but also my country and my family.    Passionate about leadership, public speaking, and debates, I thrive on opportunities to give back to my community. These passions have shaped my journey, driving my involvement in initiatives that inspire growth and empower others. I believe that sharing knowledge, opportunities and fostering meaningful connections are critical to creating a lasting impact.   

Being selected as an International Ambassador is not just a title, it’s a responsibility that aligns with my personal and professional goals. As an aspiring diplomat and current third-year student of ‘Political Science and World Politics’ at HSE University-St Petersburg, my name is Akabueze Daniel Onyekachukwu. Before joining HSE University in 2022, I had three goals in mind that I wanted to achieve before graduation, and one of them was becoming an HSE University International Ambassador.

The title ‘Ambassador’ caught my attention for two reasons. Firstly, I aspire to serve my country as a diplomat, and secondly, it's a prestigious title. After a year at HSE University, I realised that I would like to increase the number of bachelor’s students from Nigeria here. This realisation led me to apply for the position of International Ambassador, as it would provide an official platform for me to promote and recruit students from my country.

In addition to this, I hope to use this opportunity to assist other international students with informal queries about living and studying in Russia.

An interesting fact is that I want the title ‘International Ambassador’ on my resume as it will enhance my professional profile and demonstrate my leadership skills.

I am thrilled to contribute to this role and help make the student experience at HSE University even more enriching and memorable. I look forward to meeting all of you and becoming a part of the wonderful HSE University family.

The help I’ve received from the HSE staffs during my enrolment and beyond has been valuable. The professors and students here are all exceptionally professional and dedicated, which is one of the reasons I decided to become an ambassador. As a dedicated digital marketing specialist and communication professional, I am enthusiastic about using novel approaches to forge meaningful connections and promote effective initiatives. These passions have led my academic and professional journeys, inspiring me to empower others and create inclusive, growth-oriented environments. Hello! I’m Josine, currently a second-year student in the Bachelor’s programme ‘Political Science and World Politics’ at HSE University-St Petersburg. I come from Germany. I was enrolled in this university through the Russian State Scholarship competition for international students aspiring to join HSE. Now, I am aiming to serve as an ambassador for this initiative.

I have chosen to be an ambassador because when I started university, I encountered the issue of not knowing whom to ask for details regarding exams for international students and about academic and extracurricular activities. Now, I would like to assist future HSE University students in addressing their concerns regarding the educational experience and life in Russia beyond the classroom. Fortunately, a project like this can assist individuals in locating all essential information and gaining insights into the international community at HSE University, which is consistently there for your support.

Becoming an ambassador for my university is a unique opportunity that I am truly passionate about. As an ambassador, I would have the chance to represent our vibrant community and share the incredible experiences that have shaped my academic journey. I believe that my enthusiasm for our university's values, programmes, and culture can inspire prospective students and foster a sense of belonging among current students.

Hi everyone! My name is Rakhmetulla, I am a second-year student of the Master's programme ‘Civil and Commercial Law’ at HSE University-St Petersburg. I received my bachelor's degree also at HSE, and when I was in my first year, I regretted that I learned about this university very late, because if I had learned about it at least two years earlier, I would have prepared better for the entrance exams and studied at the bachelor's degree without paying tuition fees. One of the reasons I decided to become an ambassador is to increase the recognition of the university. I would like more and more applicants from my country to learn about HSE University, the opportunities it provides and many other positive features. After all, it is likely that admission to HSE can completely change your life.
