Guest lecture of one of the largest auditors in Russia – the company Technologies of Trust (TeDo) presented by the partner Alexey Kulikov took place in High school of economics in Saint-Petersburg at 16^th of October as part of the International financial reporting standards course. Audit experience of Alexey includes more than 18 years, more than 20 completed engagements, more than 1000 team members. TeDo executes services to more than 400 clients, includes general and tax audit, risk assessment and sustainability reporting.

Aleksandra Averyanova graduated from the Bachelor's programme 'International Business and Management' in 2024 but already now, she is working as a coordinator of internal training at the IT company 'ecom.tech'. The graduate started working on her career back at the university—when she joined the Career Centre and then was hired at 'Setters Education'. Daniyar Rakhimberdinov is a graduate of the School of Economics and Management of 2024. During the four years of the Bachelor's programme, Daniyar spent very vividly: studied artificial intelligence and founded a student club devoted to breakthrough technologies. He set his heart on the dream to establish his own business and started his career path in a large IT company. Daniyar attended a summer school in Italy and joined the Student Council. In June, as part of the Financial Management course (taught at the International Business and Management program), an open lecture was held with the participation of Olga Nikolaevna Voronova, Head of the Marketing Department of JSC Lengiprotrans. Practical aspects of working with investors and creditors were discussed at the lecture. Great attention was paid to preparing for pitching - presenting investment projects in the format of short presentations. The recommendations made during this open lecture were then applied by the students as part of the defense of projects that took place in the format of a 5-minute pitching.

A research group of students from the HSE campus in St. Petersburg: Andrey Shirshov and Ekaterina Kukovenko (BP International Business, 4 d year), led by Associate Professor of the Department of Finance, Ph.D. Elizaveta Igorevna Markovskaya studied how the adaptation strategies of Russian small and medium-sized businesses, applied in response to sanctions from the United States and the European Union after the start of the special military operation, influenced the performance of firms in the short-term period.

Students of the School of Economics and Management took part in the international competition CFA Regional Societies Research Challenge which was held in Abu Dhabi (UAE). At this competition, the team from HSE University-St Petersburg represented Russia and took third place as a result.

Maria Menshikova is a third-year student of the Bachelor's programme 'International Business and Management'.
