On October 2 and 3, Nizhny Novgorod hosted a traditional insurance conference at Mininsky University with the participation of the Bank of Russia, the Russian Union of Rectors, JSC SOGAZ, PJSC IC Rosgosstrakh, PJSC SAK ENERGOGARANT, SPAO Ingosstrakh. Its name is the XXVI International Scientific and Practical Conference "Insurance, Education and Science", which emphasizes that the insurance market is not just alive, but also adapts to the changing conditions of the Russian economy. 

The School of Economics and Management at HSE University pays special attention to international relations, expanding the geography of interaction. Partner universities are interested in joint educational projects and scientific research, and they are also eager to share their experience and knowledge. Thus, the Brazilian university UniCamp (https://unicamp.br/) held a two-hour webinar for students of the educational program "International Bachelors in Business and Economics" on the topic "Artificial Intelligence in Marketing."

As a part of the study project “Development of marketing and PR strategy for the DOC ART GALLERY”, implemented with the participation of students of the Master's Programme “Arts and Culture Management” under the supervision of the Associate Professor of the Management Department Ekaterina Leonidovna Shekova, a series of events was held to promote the DOC ART GALLERY in the art market of St. Petersburg and to increase the gallery attendance.

On May 22, 2025, the St. Petersburg School of Economics and Management at HSE University hosted the first event in a new roundtable series titled “The Future of Finance Today.” The event aimed to strengthen collaboration between the academic community and business leaders in the financial sector.

On April 18, Darina Starshinova, Director of Strategic Marketing at "Lenta," gave a guest lecture for students of the Educational Program "International Bachelor's in Business and Economics". With a decade of experience in FMCG and retail, Darina is a top-notch specialist in identifying customer needs and in the ability to make customers fall in love with brand products. On April 18, students of the International Bachelor’s Programme in Business and Economics at HSE University – St. Petersburg had the opportunity to attend a guest lecture by Alexander Vyalkov, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board at Bank Saint Petersburg. The event was held as part of the Finance Theory course and focused on contemporary approaches to bank management.

Anastasiia Isakova, Creative Director of Beyond Taylor, will conduct a masterclass for the 'Turning Creativity into Business' project on April 14, 2025. The event aims to serve as a launchpad for young creative entrepreneurs at HSE University–St Petersburg.

Guest lecture on the topic “Supply chain management and Operational production planning of enterprises" was successfully held as part of the discipline “General Management” at the Higher School of Economics in Saint Petersburg for the 1st-year students of the International Bachelor's Degree in Business and Economics. 

In February and March, the Institute of Continuing Professional Education, the School of Economics and Management, HSE St. Petersburg, and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University Polytechnic University (PolyU) participated in international project the Global Classroom, which aims to conduct joint classes for various universities in online format, which allows them to gain experience in communicating with representatives of different countries, as well as to find out which issues in business and society are currently most relevant for different countries and how they are being resolved.

On Monday, March 31, students of the Master’s in Finance program had the chance to attend a dynamic guest lecture by Professor Mikhail Munenzon from Illinois Wesleyan University (USA). But this was more than just a lecture — it was a hands-on workshop where finance theory met real-world practice, and investment decisions felt strikingly real.
