Master’s Programme 'Applied Economics and Mathematical Methods' Launches a Double Degree Track
LUISS and HSE University in St. Petersburg have signed an agreement for a new Double Degree Programme. Students accepted into the MA programmes at partner universities in 2018 will be eligible for mobility as part of the Double Degree Programme.
At LUISS (Libera Università Internazionale degli Studi Sociali Guido Carli) the Double Degree Track has become a part of the MA programme in Economics and Finance, which is especially important in the area of macroeconomics.
At HSE University in St. Petersburg, the DD Track is a part of the MA programme in Applied Economics and Mathematical Methods.
The new track is open to all candidates, including international applicants.
Students study at their home university in the first and the second semesters. They can opt for the Double Degree Track at a partner university for the third and fourth semesters of their studies.
The Double Degree Track is delivered in English at both universities; therefore, students planning to enroll should be proficient in English.
Students are not required to pay tuition or admission fees at the partner university. However, they do have to cover travel expenses, accommodation, and other programme-related costs.
The newly-established Double Degree Track is a not only a great chance to obtain degrees from two leading universities, it is also an opportunity to explore a cultural environment and educational system of a different kind, to develop a professional network, and to discover a foreign city.
The deadline for graduate international admissions at HSE University in St. Petersburg is approaching — July, 15. To apply for the MA programme, international applicants should provide documentation of their achievements to date, as well as sit an interview with the programme selection committee.
Recently, HSE University in St. Petersburg launched two Double Degree Bachelor’s programmes in International Business and Management Studies and Political Science and World Politics.
Since 2016, HSE University St. Petersburg and University College London have offered a Double Degree Master’s programme in Finance.
