The master's programme 'Finance' at HSE University-St Petersburg has confirmed its international accreditation of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) for five years. Now, the programme graduates can skip several exams when joining ACCA. The qualification gives the alumni a competitive advantage when seeking employment in top Russian and international companies for positions related to finance and accounting.

During a visit to the Indian Institute of Management Indore (IIM Indore) by a HSE University-St Petersburg delegation led by campus Director Anna Tyshetskaya, the two universities agreed to create a mirror laboratory in the sphere of environmental behaviour, social well-being, and responsibility management.

Students of MP “Finance” won the CFA Russia Challenge national economic competition
The School of Economics and Management team won the CFA Russia Challenge, a nation-wide student competition on investment analysis of companies. The team's mentor, Vladislav Afanasiev, graduated from MP “Finance” in 2020. The students were tasked with carrying out Equity Research - a company analysis on the basis of which investors make strategic decisions about forming an investment portfolio.

On 5 June, the Mentor Workshop course included a fascinating lecture on "Creation a Project Management Risk System in Oil and Gas industry" presented by Pavel Kisilev, Head of Project Evaluation and Analysis Department of OOO GAZPROMNEFT SRC, and Andrey Bondarenko, Head of direction.
Students of MP "Finance" have learned how to classify risks; they have got acquainted with methods of identification, an estimation and ranging of risks on an example of the oil and gas extraction, oil service enterprises; they have learned to reveal and estimate technological, organizational and ecological risks in oil industry.
Project Defense of 2nd year Master Students
On March 28 there was a project defense within the module "Project Work". Practical solutions were developed for the companies: Sveza (world leader in the production of birch plywood) and Association GAOORDI (St. Petersburg Association of Public Associations of Parents of Disabled Children "GAOORDI").
