For the second year now HSE Saint-Petersburg has been gladly welcoming students from UCL School of Slavonic and Eastern European Studies, coming to improve their language skills and immerse themselves into the mysterious Russian culture. Last weekend this year’s group of UCL SSEES students have visited Velikiy Novgorod – the cradle of Russian statehood and a real architectural gem. On October 6 Bruno van Pottelsberghe, chairman and dean of QTEM (Quantitative Techniques for Economics and Management) from Solvay Business School held a presentation at HSE Saint-Petersburg. The HSE campuses in Moscow and Saint Petersburg joined QTEM in March 2017, enabling students to learn new quantitative and analytical skills whilst spending a semester or two in one of the world’s best business schools.
