HSE University Graduates to Be Able to Receive Diplomas in NFT Format
HSE University and the social network VK are launching a pilot project to issue NFT diplomas. The diplomas will take the form of digital images with programmed metadata about the graduate, their educational programme, and year of graduation. Graduates of 38 continuing professional education programmes at the Faculty of Law from 2019–2023 will be the first to receive such diplomas. Based on the results of the pilot project, the possibility of implementing the innovation in other faculties and educational programmes will be considered.

A delegation from HSE University-St Petersburg has visited the University of Economics and Business—Vietnam National University (VNU-UEB) in Hanoi. During the visit, Manoj Sharma, Vice President of HSE University-St Petersburg, and Nguyen Truc Le, Chairman of VNU-UEB, signed a letter of intent on developing cooperation between the two universities.

From September 25–29, HSE University-Moscow hosted International Partners’ Week. Annually, HSE University gathers representatives of the world’s leading universities and academic supervisors of HSE educational programmes from campuses in Moscow, St Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod and Perm. Art and Design School Becomes New Faculty at HSE University-St Petersburg
The Art and Design School has become a separate faculty within the structure of HSE University-St Petersburg. The new department includes the bachelor's and master's programmes in Design. Mitya Kharshak has been appointed dean of the faculty.
Initiation, Lectures and a Lot of Music: What We Will Remember About HSE SPB DAY 2023
HSE SPB Day has been held at Sevkabel Port in the open air. HSE students were congratulated on the beginning of the academic year by the trustees, faculty deans, and the rousing HSE Dance Club. The first-years had an initiation ceremony, participated in activities from student clubs, and danced to popular songs on the Gulf of Finland. They received well wishes from the professors, representatives of large companies and, of course, student organisations. HSE University has risen 17 places in the list of top world universities and remains among the top five Russian universities in the Three University Missions Moscow International University Ranking (MosIUR).
