Students of the School of Art and Design at HSE University–St Petersburg went on an art expedition to India together with Dean Mitya Kharshak and senior lecturer Ekaterina Filipenko. The delegation not only visited the partner university LPU and met local visual artists but also left their artistic mark on the campus territory. Read on to find out more.

Yaroslav Barykin graduated from the Bachelor's programme 'Political Science and World Politics,' and then from the Master's programme 'Data Analytics for Politics and Society' with honours. On July 3, the concert and sports complex 'Arena' hosted one of the main events of the year—the graduation ceremony of HSE University-St Petersburg. It gathered more than 4,000 guests: graduates, their friends and families, professors, mentors, and representatives of the university's industrial partners. On May 16-17, HSE University-St Petersburg hosted the first student research conference on Political Science and related disciplines 'May Forum'. It gathered more than 50 young researchers from five Russian regions. The students organised the events with the financial support of the HSE Centre for Student Academic Development.

The work by Sofia Fedotova, 4th-year student of the Bachelor's track 'Communication Design', has made it to the final of the MAX3MIN 'very short' film festival in Italy.

Ekaterina Shelukhina is completing her fourth year of studies in the Bachelor's programme 'Applied Mathematics and Information Science'. In autumn, she passed the selection process for the VK project workshop. There, she works on the interface of the Robbi machine-learning platform. Ekaterina shared her impressions of the project and her trip to Moscow.

On April 8–10, HSE University-St Petersburg will hold the fifth Model United Nations conference (MUN). The event will take place offline in English and both current and prospective students can participate. The application deadline is March 15.
