HSE University continues to develop cooperation with educational institutions in the Asia-Pacific region. A delegation from HSE University-St Petersburg participated in the annual conference 'International Convention for Global Partnerships' in New Delhi.

Several panel discussions and roundtables devoted to international cooperation in the new geopolitical conditions were held as part of the business programme of the conference. At the exhibition section, HSE University-St Petersburg presented its educational programmes and the enrolment opportunities available to Indian school students.

Indian colleagues took an interest in the programmes of international summer schools at HSE University, study tours for career guidance for senior school students, programmes of continuing professional development for professors, and opportunities for continuing education.

'HSE University presented information to school directors on opportunities for Indian applicants to increase their competitive abilities and attractiveness among leading global universities. Schools today should aim not for simple partnerships, but for global and equal cooperation with foreign universities'.

HSE University has proposed the creation of international affairs departments at Indian schools and the launch of exchange programmes between schools and universities.

The conference gathered heads of higher education institutions and schools, including representatives from more than 300 private educational institutions, members of the Central Board of Secondary Education and the ICSE board, as well as key figures in the Indian government. The convention participants included representatives of universities and colleges in the USA, the UK, Australia, Canada, and Russia.
