From May 18 to 22, HSE University–St Petersburg became the centre for global academic dialogue. This was the third time the city hosted International Partners' Week, a strategic event of HSE University. The event brought together more than 100 delegates from 45 universities and 20 countries. Participants shared their impressions of the forum and HSE University.

HSE University–St Petersburg and the Shanghai Dragons hockey club have signed a cooperation agreement. HSE University–St Petersburg students will be able to undertake internships at various units of the team, conduct sports research, and supplement their portfolios with international projects.

Students of the School of Art and Design at HSE University–St Petersburg went on an art expedition to India together with Dean Mitya Kharshak and senior lecturer Ekaterina Filipenko. The delegation not only visited the partner university LPU and met local visual artists but also left their artistic mark on the campus territory. Read on to find out more.

Yaroslav Barykin graduated from the Bachelor's programme 'Political Science and World Politics,' and then from the Master's programme 'Data Analytics for Politics and Society' with honours. Now, the HSE University–St Petersburg graduate teaches political science students and plans to continue his studies in a PhD programme. On May 23 in the Presidential Library in St Petersburg, leaders and experts from 23 universities of 15 countries participated in the first day of the International Partners' Days. Apart from the lively discussion about global tendencies in the development of higher education, HSE University has signed partner agreements with the universities of India, Uzbekistan and Oman.

In the second half of April, there was one of the largest fairs of contemporary art in St Petersburg—Port Art Fair. Designing its construction at 'Sevkabel Port' was the responsibility of Eva Chernykh, student of the Bachelor's programme 'Design'.

The work by Sofia Fedotova, 4th-year student of the Bachelor's track 'Communication Design', has made it to the final of the MAX3MIN 'very short' film festival in Italy.

A delegation from HSE University-St Petersburg has visited the University of Economics and Business—Vietnam National University (VNU-UEB) in Hanoi. During the visit, Manoj Sharma, Vice President of HSE University-St Petersburg, and Nguyen Truc Le, Chairman of VNU-UEB, signed a letter of intent on developing cooperation between the two universities.

On September 1 in St Petersburg and September 13 in Istanbul, Mitya Kharshak, Head of the HSE University-St Petersburg Art and Design School and famous designer and publisher, will present the latest issue of the Projector journal devoted to Turkish design.
