'Today Was a Very Happy and Nostalgic Day': How the Main Celebration of HSE University-St Petersburg Graduates Went
On June 30, HSE University-St Petersburg gathered almost 5000 guests at KSK 'Arena' for the main event of this summer—graduation 2024. Bachelor's and master's students were congratulated by their friends and family, professors and faculty deans as well as HSE University-St Petersburg trustees. The diplomas of HSE University-St Petersburg were awarded to more than 1400 people, and 280 of them received the diplomas with honours. Master's Programme 'Finance' at HSE University-St Petersburg Confirms International ACCA Accreditation
The master's programme 'Finance' at HSE University-St Petersburg has confirmed its international accreditation of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) for five years. Now, the programme graduates can skip several exams when joining ACCA. The qualification gives the alumni a competitive advantage when seeking employment in top Russian and international companies for positions related to finance and accounting.
HSE University-St Petersburg Hosts 50 Students from Top Indian Universities
HSE University-St Petersburg hosted the Indian Students Week. The event gathered more than 50 students from India. The students represented 15 top universities in the country. In particular, there were representatives of IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, UPES, IIM Amritsar and others. The goal of this large-scale initiative of HSE University-St Petersburg is to introduce talented students from India to educational opportunities in Russia, in particular, HSE educational programmes in four directions: business and economics, design, social and computer sciences.

The Working Group on Education, Science and Technologies had the first meeting organised by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Higher Education of Malaysia. The participants discussed the cooperation formats, including the development of the mirror laboratory of HSE University-St Petersburg and Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in the sphere of social entrepreneurship which was officially opened during the HSE International Partners' Days.

HSE University has improved its position in the recently published Times Higher Education (THE) Young University Ranking, rising from 98th to 87th place. This is the best position among Russian universities. Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, holds first place.
