Financier - profession of the future": the topic of the qualifying round essay has been determined
Deadline for submitting application form: 16 February 2024
The aim of the competition is to provide future applicants to the Master's programme "Finance" with the opportunity to solve problems in GMAT format, to support the most talented students and to give the winners of the competition the opportunity to get the maximum score for the entrance exam for the programme.
To pass the qualifying round, the candidate must send to the competition organisers:
- Participant's CV
- Letter of motivation in English
- An essay on a financial topic
Essay topic: Key rate of the Bank of Russia. 3 horizons forecast.
The contest participants are invited to make a reasonable assessment of the future dynamics of the key rate of the Bank of Russia, answering three questions:
1. What do you think, what will be the decision of the Board of Directors of the Bank of Russia on the key rate at the next meeting on March 22? Give your arguments.
2. What do you think will be the key rate value by the end of 2024? What can affect its dynamics and how?
3. What do you think will be the dynamics of the key rate in the next 5 years? What can affect its dynamics and how?
