Course Syllabus

Abstract

The course’s aim is to shape a comprehensive understanding of the logistics systems’ tasks and functions as well as to examine the methods of material and information flow and supply chain management. The first part of the course is dedicated to basic concepts and principles of supply chain management including logistics, procurement and shipment, warehousing and inventory, distribution and service, reverse logistics, product and information flows in the field of supply chain management. The second part will provide students with a set of analytical tools and decision supporting technologies to make them able to apply the most efficient approaches in the field of business analytics in logistics and supply chain management.
