Political Science Students Hold Research Conference 'May Forum'
On May 16-17, HSE University-St Petersburg hosted the first student research conference on Political Science and related disciplines 'May Forum'. It gathered more than 50 young researchers from five Russian regions. The students organised the events with the financial support of the HSE Centre for Student Academic Development.

Art and Design School Becomes New Faculty at HSE University-St Petersburg
The Art and Design School has become a separate faculty within the structure of HSE University-St Petersburg. The new department includes the bachelor's and master's programmes in Design. Mitya Kharshak has been appointed dean of the faculty.
Initiation, Lectures and a Lot of Music: What We Will Remember About HSE SPB DAY 2023
HSE SPB Day has been held at Sevkabel Port in the open air. HSE students were congratulated on the beginning of the academic year by the trustees, faculty deans, and the rousing HSE Dance Club. The first-years had an initiation ceremony, participated in activities from student clubs, and danced to popular songs on the Gulf of Finland. They received well wishes from the professors, representatives of large companies and, of course, student organisations. Ekaterina Shelukhina is completing her fourth year of studies in the Bachelor's programme 'Applied Mathematics and Information Science'. In autumn, she passed the selection process for the VK project workshop. There, she works on the interface of the Robbi machine-learning platform. CIBA 2023: Talking Art and Business at the Alexandrinsky Theatre
On April 20, the conference 'CIBA: Creative Industries. Business. Art' took place. It was organised by students of the Master's programme 'Arts and Culture Management' in cooperation with the New Stage of the Alexandrinsky Theatre. The event was attended by 225 people, and the online broadcast on the VK social network had more than 230,000 views.
'Forming a Sustainable Future': HSE Holds Fifth Model United Nations
In April, HSE University-St Petersburg held its fifth International Model United Nations conference. For the first time since 2019, it was held in person. More than 140 participants were in attendance, including experts, university students and schoolchildren.
